The George Telegraph Training Institute commenced operations in 1920. Its vast experience in vocational education has resulted in a standardised syllabi and methodology that is structured and yet flexible enough to adapt to the changing needs of the industries.
The Institute also undertakes various employee training and assessment programmes for external organisations, within its campuses or off-campus, as per demand.

The Institute is a training partner of National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC). NSDC is a non-profit Company under the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Govt. of India. The courses available at all centres are NSDC affiliated.
